Your data stays in your browser
TriGains is a static website with no backend application server. It collects no personal data, sets no cookies, and runs no analytics or tracking. The short version: there is almost nothing to protect, because almost nothing leaves your device.
What is stored, and where
Your athlete profile (swim/run pace, bike power, weight, race format, unit
preference) and your list of owned gear are saved in your browser’s local storage under the key user_aero_profile.
This data never leaves your device — it is not transmitted to us or anyone
else, and we cannot read it. It exists only so the site remembers your settings
between visits.
Cookies & tracking
None. TriGains sets no cookies, embeds no analytics or advertising scripts, and uses no fingerprinting. There are no third-party trackers and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
Third-party requests
The site loads no external fonts, scripts, or content delivery networks. The MathJax library used to render formulas on the science page is served from this same site, so your browser makes no requests to third-party domains while you use TriGains.
Server logs
Like any website, the pages are delivered by a hosting provider that may, for the technical operation and security of the server, briefly process standard access data such as your IP address, the requested file, and a timestamp. This processing is carried out by the host on the basis of its legitimate interest in operating the service reliably; TriGains itself does not analyse, store, or link this data to you.
Your control
Because everything is stored locally, you are in full control. You can clear it at any time by using the “Reset profile” action, clearing your browser’s site data for this domain, or browsing in a private window (where nothing persists).
Your rights & contact
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, and erase personal data, among others. As TriGains holds no personal data about you on any server, there is nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf. For questions about data protection, the operator’s contact details are on the imprint page.
